I'm Sorry.
Back when I was more serious about journaling, I went through a period of time in which every entry would start with an apology to myself about how long it had been since I'd written. I'm not sure why I felt the need to apologize to myself, but, regardless, I once again feel like apologizing to the great blue yonder (who's out there anyway?) that it has been over a month since I've posted to my blog! So, for all of you out there who go running to your computers hourly to see if by chance I've posted something exciting-- I'm sorry!
I'm also not as motivated to blog, because our digital camera broke! I'm very bummed. (Does anyone out there know of a good-quality, affordable digital camera to recommend?) I'm hoping to find a good deal soon, so any advice would be appreciated.

Hey Becky. I'm out here in Blogland reading and my Google reader page helps me not have to go and check to see if you've blogged (the messages just show up when you post them. Yet another way my life is improved by the wonder that is Google).
As for digital cameras, I've been thinking about upgrading mine. I've heard good things about any of the Kodak easy share cameras (or whatever the standard name is), although I'm looking more seriously at some of the Nikon Coolpix models. They're a bit more expensive, but tend to have more features I'm interested in. I've got a little Pentax Optio which has served me well and still works great. If I do upgrade it will be for more (optical) zoom, faster booting and save/write to memory card time and possibly internal rechargeable battery. Althought I'm still wavering on that last point. I still like the option of being able to toss in regular AAs should I be stuck somewhere that I can't recharge my rechargable AAs or I forget the charging cord.
