Aidan is Eight!!
I can't believe Aidan has turned eight! Since he wants to be an astronaut (or, as he calls it, a "space scientist"), he celebrated his birthday this past Saturday with an "Outer Space" party. (He also wants to be a "snake scientist," but that didn't seem a very convenient theme for a birthday party. Maybe next year... HA!)
We had a great time playing games and eating foods related to that theme. Here are some pictures of his home-made cakes (Mommy and Daddy had a little TOO much fun that morning decorating the cakes), and of the party itself.

Oh, great cakes! And just in time, as Kenan's birthday party is this Saturday (his real birthday is today) and he asked for a space theme too. Is it plagiarism if we steal your cake designs?
Of course not. Steal away! :-) I wish I could send you our leftover plates/cups/goody bags, etc., but wouldn't quite make it in time.
